It’s no secret that we love stripes. The versatile, timeless print has been a staple of Sundry collections since the beginning. They’re graphically bold, yet the epitome of simplicity. When in doubt, you can never go wrong with a classic striped tee. It’s any wardrobe’s best friend.
We thought it’d be nice to profess our stripe-obsession here on the blog by honoring some of our favorite striped moments. Happy swooning:
Indoek, a surf-centric site and blog, recently featured our Creative Director Matthieu Leblan's Venice Beach home as part of their Surf Shacks series. Mark Wiesmayr from Indoek (who also happens to be a close friend of Matt's) also sat down with Matt to learn more about his French heritage, life in LA, and the DNA of the Sundry brand. We loved the story so much that we thought we should share it here with you as well:
Early memories (and your accent)?
I grew up in Aix-en-Provence and I spent my childhood summers along the Mediterranean Sea in the South, and in Western France surfing and sailing in the Atlantic Ocean. Spending all this time around the beauty of nature taught me to appreciate sun, sand, and sea and I think eventually inspired me to do what I do now. I draw a lot of inspiration from my family heritage. My grandmother had impeccable style and my mother made all her own clothes. I love to look through vintage family photos for inspiration.

It's time for another installment of our Insta-Roundup (a collection of our favorite tagged Instagram posts), and we're so happy to share this Spring '16-filled assortment with you. We hope you enjoy these delightful shots as much as we do!

For the first in our “Things We Love” series, we’re thrilled to feature Wax Posters. Our dear friend Camilla Trigano founded the online store to celebrate “heroes, legends, misfits, misanthropes, outsiders and outcasts.”
Young, old, big, small – all are welcomed at Mama’s!
When we were asked to create custom tees for Mama Shelter, we could hardly contain our excitement. The funky-cool Hollywood hotel perfectly captures the energy of our favorite city, and we couldn’t wait to add a little Sundry to the mix. In designing the tees, we wanted to represent all the things that make Mama Shelter unique, and we're thrilled with the end result. Read on to see more Sundry for Mama Shelter.
We’re excited to feature one of our favorite spots in LA, owned by longtime Sundry friend Benjamin Trigano and his family. Deemed “One of the Best Hotels in the World” by Travel + Leisure, Mama Shelter is turning the Hollywood hotel scene upside down. With reasonably priced rooms, the six-location boutique hotel caters to a diverse mix of shelter-seekers. But that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in style or quality.

We're proud to present our second installment of Insta-Roundup, a series featuring our favorite Sundry-tagged photos. We always love seeing how you style your Sundry - we hope you continue to share!
We hate feeling unprepared right before a trip and, with the holiday weekend creeping up quickly, we thought we might be able to help you out (and say “merci”) by thinking ahead for you. We know that a Thanksgiving packing list calls for a delicate balance of comfort and style, and we think these pieces accomplish exactly that. Enjoy!
